Radisson Blu Leipzigs Trainees are among the best
Excellent Apprenticeships in Leipzig’s Hotels
In the Finals of the 13th Regional Championships of the Saxon Hotel and Hospitality Industry 2015 the top awards went to Hotel Industry Expert Stephanie Matthias (Radisson Blu Hotel Leipzig), Restaurant Expert Florian Schneider (The Westin Leipzig) and Restaurant Expert Patrizia Burjan with the second place (The Westin Leipzig). The organisers DEHOGA Regionalverband Leipzig, Internationaler Kochkunstverein 1884 zu Leipzig e.V. und Susanna-Eger-Schule presented the winners the Azubi-Award, high quality gift prizes and vouchers.
60 guests, among them the representatives of the Training Industry, watched as Trainees prepared and served a four-course menu in the Championship finals with the Motto: “100 Years Leipzig”. Next a jury of teachers and selected chefs judged their efforts.
Sandra Epper, the General Manager of the Radisson Blu, and Andreas Hachmeister, The Westin General Manager were very pleased with the awards: „These fantastic results show how high the quality of training is in both of these Leipzig Hotels“.
