Earth Hour 2015 at the Radisson Blu Leipzig
Everyone can make a change
On the 28th of March 2015 millions of people all over the world will be switching of their lights from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm. For the 9th time the Earth Hour will be
setting a good example by supporting climate protection. In 2014 over 7000 cities in 162 countries took part in the world’s biggest climate protesction campaign. In Germany the lights will be going out at the Brandenburger Tor, Cologne Dom/Cathedral, Hamburg Rathaus and also at Leipzig’s Opera. At the same time a
Lantern-Flashmob with hundreds of participants took place in at Augustusplatz in Leipzig.
Radisson Blu Hotel Leipzig is taking part again in 2015
The
Hotel am Augustusplatz is switching off all non-essential lighting in public areas and also the usually distinctive blue glowing Radisson Blu logo on the roof during the earth hour. Guests at the Radisson Leipzig are very welcome to switch off all room lighting or try the special “Earth Hour Cocktail” while watching the film „Our World“ at the Spagos Lounge.
