Calls himself a native "Ossi" (East German) with great love for cooking with fresh, regional products.

Jörg Siemienkowicz completed his training as a chef with the first international Master Chef of East Germany - Dieter Bonge - of the legendary wine restaurant "Ganymede" in Berlin.

His first years of exploring the culinary world, he has spent with stops in Tuscany, Switzerland (St. Moritz, Montreux and Zurich) and Austria (Salzburg). It was followed by seven years in Berlin’s “Hotel Albrechtshof” and in “Burghotel zu Straußberg”, where he achievements as a chef were recognized with 15 Gault Millau points and he has been admitted as Chaine de Maître with Rôtisseur Rottisseur.
